Bendersville - Company 7

The Bendersville Fire Company located approximately 10 miles north of Gettysburg,  was established in 1914 under the name "Union Fire Company". During the year 1932, the name was changed to the Bendersville Fire Company. The Bendersville Fire Company Protects the Bendersville Borough,  the Menallen, Tyrone, Huntington, and Dickinson Townships, and the surrounding areas. We respond to approximately 175 Fire and Rescue calls per year, and 200 Medical Calls. Our new building was built and dedicated in 2003, and we were the hosts of the 2003 ACVESA Convention. In 2006 the apparatus formally known as Brush 7 was placed out of service, and returned to the PA forestry.

Led by Chief Gary Bretzman, The Bendersville Fire Company  currently operates 1 Seagrave Engine, 1 Haun Engine, 1 Chevy 4 x4 Mini Pumper, 1 Chevy Service Truck, and 1 Ford BLS Ambulance. The Bendersville Fire Company is located at 152 Park Street in Bendersville,  PA.
