The Bonneauville Community Fire Department was organized in November of 1923. The Department has "small town ... BIG PRIDE" on the front of there engines. The Bonneauville Community Fire Department responds in Bonneauville Borough, Mount Pleasant Township, Mount Joy Township, and the surrounding areas. Led by President Mervin Herr, and Chief Jerry Poland the Bonneauville Community Fire Department operates the following apparatus: A 2000 Ford Crown Vic Duty Vehicle, A1993 E-One Engine-Rescue, A 2003 E-One Engine-Tanker, a 2000 Ford F-350 Brush Truck, and a 2006 Ford E-450 Horton Type III Ambulance.
The Bonneauville Community Fire Company is Adams County's Company 19. The Bonneauville Community Fire Department were the 2006 recipients of the Harry Moul award at the ACVESA convention hosted by the Irishtown Fire Company in August of 2006.The Bonneauville Community Fire Department is located at 10 Elm Avenue in Gettysburg, PA.
