The Fountaindale Fire Company was established in November of 1946, and is located in Southwest Adams County near the Adams-Franklin County Line, and the Mason Dixon line. The Fountaindale Fire Company protects the Hamiltonban, and Liberty Townships,  the Carroll Valley Borough, and the surrounding areas that include Franklin County PA, Frederick County MD, and Washington County MD. The Fountaindale Fire Company responds to just under 200 Fire, Rescue, and Medical calls per year. Fountaindale Fire Company, along with the Fairfield Fire & EMS were the host of the 2004 ACVESA Convention, held at the Adams County Emergency Services Training Facility.

Led by Chief Dave Martin, The Fountaindale Fire Company currently operates a Central States / HME Rescue-Engine, a Central States / HME Engine-Tanker, a Ford F-550 Special Unit, and a Jeep Brush Truck. The Fountaindale Fire Company has been a great supporter of ACVESA. Currently Fountaindale's Chief Dave Martin serves as the ACVESA Treasurer.
