The Irishtown Fire Company  was established in 1931, and is located 3 miles south of New Oxford. The Irishtown Fire Company protects the Oxford Township, and the surrounding areas. We respond to approximately 60 fire, and rescue calls per year. The New Oxford Fire Company provides the ambulance service in our area. The Irishtown Fire Company was the host of the 2006 ACVESA convention last August. In late 2006 the Irishtown Fire Company built on an addition to house the fire apparatus. Most of the building materials were donated by local businesses.

Led by Chief Jay Livingston, The Irishtown Fire Company  currently operates a Spartan Darley Engine, a Spartan Darley Engine-Tanker, and a Dodge Utility Special Unit.

The Irishtown Fire Company is located at 934 Irishtown Road in New Oxford,  PA.
