| Description: | This course gives the student the knowledge of power tool usage and disentanglement techniques. At the end of this course the student will be able to take the written Basic Vehicle Rescue Technician certification test. |

| Prerequisites: | Basic Vehicle Rescue Awareness (Certificate required) Basic Vehicle Rescue Operations (Certificate required) Students must be 18 years of age by the start of class. |

| Student Needs: | Pen/pencil, notebook, Protective gear – coat, pants, helmet, gloves, boots, eye protection, hearing protection. |
| Student Dress: | All clothing shall be neat, clean, in good repair, presentable, and represent the department that the individual is representing. Participants are to report in clothing suitable for hands-on training. |
